DAY Elevator & Lift offers learning seminars approved for credit by the American Institute of Architects’ (AIA) Continuing Education System (CES) for architects, construction managers and design professionals. The AIA CE Credits DAY offers include General Learning Units, and Health, Safety and Welfare Learning Units.
DAY Elevator and Lift will host a Free AIA Accredited Lunch and Learn Seminar on the topic “Limited Use Limited Application Elevators and Wheelchair Lifts for ADA Code” on November 7, 2018. This learning seminar is scheduled to be held from 12:15 PM – 1:30 PM at their office at 50 Hempstead Garden Drive, West Hempstead, NY.
The seminar will be presented by Evan Petrower, Licensed Director of NYC Elevator Agency, and cover important topics such as
- Design and code for residential elevators
- Material handling systems including dumbwaiters, material lifts and vertical reciprocating conveyors
- Glass home elevators
DAY will hold a live demo of their products on the same day. Lunch will be provided.
