One of the DAY’s successful projects was the installation of a Savaria vertical platform lift in New York’s McDonald outlet. The classic, long-running fast-food chain McDonald’s outlet 18 E 42nd St, New York needed accessibility to their 2nd floor. DAY successfully handled the project by installing a platform lift which ensured smooth and safe access for wheelchair users to the upper level.
The major challenge that DAY faced with regards to this project was that the outlet needed an ADA-compliant accessibility product for the main entrance within very limited space as they were adding additional dining space to the second floor.
